About Me

A native of San Francisco, Helenette has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2004 whose work experience lies in working many avenues of the beauty industry from being a freelance makeup artist with MAC Cosmetics from 2007-2013 to being an educator as a Makeup Specialist teaching at SFIEC a Paul Mitchell Partner School in San Francisco from 2004-2008. During that time, she's also held a position as a National Educator for the Paul Mitchell School Systems as an Advanced Academy Makeup Specialist teaching at several Paul Mitchell Schools across the country coaching both students and teachers about makeup artistry and also assisted in creating their existing cosmetology makeup curriculum that is still being taught today.

Though her professional background is extensive in makeup instruction it also includes over 4+ years experience in creating hair & makeup looks for fashion shows, photo shoots and bridal services as well as working in wigs & makeup for the San Francisco Opera and the San Francisco Ballet Association. 

Her passion for makeup education and artistry landed her with popular makeup brand Benefit Cosmetics as an Arch Expert in 2008 where her passion for eyebrows truly started. In January 2016 she left the retail world to go into business on her own and has worked in salons in South San Francisco, Millbrae, Burlingame and now Daly City where she is now in her very own, independent studio salon space still sharing her talent, her eye for eyebrow shapes and expertise with beauty makeup.
